Connor Wren - EPK

Singer-Songwriter, Producer and Studio Vocalist

Based In: Los Angeles

BIO

Connor Wren is a singer-songwriter, studio vocalist, producer, and performer stepping into the spotlight as an independent recording artist after more than a decade shaping pop music from behind the scenes. His cinematic, emotionally precise songwriting blends industry-level craft with deeply personal stories about identity, growth, grief, and belonging.

Raised in Southern California and trained in composition and conducting, Wren began his professional career as a vocalist and arranger, building a foundation rooted in both technical rigor and emotional storytelling. After publicly coming out in 2017, he rebuilt his creative life from the ground up, channeling years of behind-the-scenes experience into a more honest, self-directed artistic voice.

That period of reinvention included time with Disney Music Group, where he recorded as a member of DCappella before expanding fully into session and studio work. Over the years, Wren became a prolific collaborator, earning more than 150 credits across film, television, and major pop recordings — sharpening his instincts across genres, formats, and audiences while remaining largely out of the spotlight.

Now releasing music under the name Connor Wren — inspired by his middle name and the small but resilient songbird — his debut album, Second Adolescence, marks a long-awaited reclamation of voice. Polished yet vulnerable, playful yet emotionally exacting, the album is a coming-of-age story told later than expected, capturing the ache and freedom of becoming who you were always meant to be.

ABOUT SECOND ADOLESCENCE

Second Adolescence is Connor Wren’s debut album, a 13-track coming-of-age record made later in life, and sharpened by that perspective. Written during a period of personal and creative recalibration, the album documents what it looks like to start over as an adult: processing what’s been lost, confronting old versions of yourself, and choosing honesty over performance.

Across the album, Wren moves through nostalgia, queerness, self-doubt, humor, grief, and release, tracing an emotional arc from disorientation to clarity. Built on cinematic pop production and diaristic songwriting, Second Adolescence isn’t reinvention for novelty’s sake — it’s reclamation: the sound of an artist who spent years supporting other voices and is now fully claiming his own.
