Nick Wolny is an American author, editor, and personal finance writer based in Los Angeles. He writes about money, technology, and LGBTQ+ culture, with a focus on how financial systems shape lived experience and long-term well-being. Wolny is the finance columnist for Out Magazine and is a managing editor at CNET, where he leads branded content and the CNET Voices program.

His work has appeared in Fast Company, Business Insider, Fortune, Entrepreneur, The Advocate, and other major publications. Known for making financial advice accessible and culturally relevant, Wolny centers queer perspectives and practical strategies for building wealth, reducing debt, and developing sustainable money habits.
