BIO:

Timothy Schraeder Rodriguez spent almost a decade in gay conversion therapy—all while working behind the scenes at some of the most influential Evangelical Christian megachurches. Born in the Midwest, he now calls New York City home, where he continues his work as a writer, digital strategist, and advocate for queer people of faith. His first book, Conversion Therapy Dropout: A Queer Story of Faith and Belonging, will be released on May 5, 2026 by Broadleaf Books and has earned a "GET IT" review rating from Kirkus Review. Additionally, Tim's personal essay, I Spent Eight Years in Conversion Therapy Mistaking Shame for Faith, ran in print for Time Magazine and was recently nominated for a 37th GLAAD Media Award.
